Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has extended his congratulations to Asif Ali Zardari, the newly elected President of Pakistan, on behalf of the elected members of the National Assembly, Senate, and the four provinces.
In a statement released by the Prime Minister’s Office, Shahbaz Sharif expressed confidence in Zardari’s ability to serve as a symbol of the federation’s strength. He voiced hope for Zardari’s effective discharge of constitutional duties in his second presidential term, highlighting the continuation of democratic values through Zardari’s election and emphasizing coalition parties’ collaboration for Pakistan’s development and prosperity.
Additionally, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesuri and Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah conveyed their felicitations to Asif Ali Zardari on his reelection as President.
