Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will leave for Saudi Arabia on Sunday.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Information Minister Attaullah Tarar will also accompany Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on his visit to Saudi Arabia.
Apart from attending the Islamic Conference in Saudi Arabia, the Prime Minister will also hold bilateral meetings.
It should be noted that the Prime Minister had recently visited Saudi Arabia, after which he gave details in this regard during his address at the Federal Cabinet meeting and said that negotiations were held with the Saudi government at the level of delegations, then the Crown Prince. Had a one-on-one meeting with Mohammed bin Salman in which Prince Mohammed bin Salman once again expressed his best wishes for Pakistan and had a friendly discussion regarding Pakistan’s development and investment.
The Prime Minister had said that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has sent his investment team, with whom a detailed meeting was held in which the interests of solar, mines and minerals, agriculture and other mutual affairs were discussed, then a press conference was also held. A delegation of ours will leave for Saudi Arabia in one to two days.
Apart from this, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir also met Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in the past few days, in which they discussed regional peace, defense and bilateral relations.
According to ISPR, Army Chief General Asim Munir thanked the Crown Prince for his support to Pakistan and appreciated his role for peace and stability in the region. Apart from this, the Army Chief also met with Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman and other senior military officials. In the meetings, the commitment to further strengthen defense and security cooperation was reiterated.
