Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi will meet in Pashin area of Balochistan today.
The two leaders will inaugurate a joint market and power transmission line at the Pishin border crossing. Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs says the market will promote cross-border trade, economic development and local business. According to reports, 100 MW of additional electricity will be received from Iran through the Polan Gabad transmission line. According to the sources, three new trade markets are also being opened on the border between Iran and Pakistan.
