PTI expelled 7 more local body representatives from the party

PTI petition filed in Islamabad High Court to stop protest

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) expelled 7 more local body representatives from the party. PTI expelled local body representatives from the party for not participating in the election of Mayor Karachi, after which the number of local body representatives expelled from the party has increased to 24. 

PTI Sindh President Haleem Adil Shaikh issued a notification to expel 7 more local body representatives from the party. 

The decision to expel the local body representatives was taken by the provincial president of the party on the recommendation of the investigation committee formed for investigation. 

Among those expelled from the party are Abdul Rahman Khan from Shah Faisal, Tahir Parvez from Sadar Town, Atif Hayat from Manghopir, Muneedur Rehman, Hayatullah from Sohrab Goth, Amjad Hussain from Korangi and Daulat Khan from Sohrab Goth. 

According to the notification, a letter has also been written to the secretary general of the party to terminate the party membership of all the members. It should be noted that earlier the decision of 17 local government representatives was against the party policy
