In Islamabad, the Supreme Court has scheduled an urgent hearing for the PTI’s petition seeking a fair playing field. A three-member panel led by Acting Chief Justice Sardar Tariq Masood will conduct the session shortly. Officials from the Election Commission have arrived at the Supreme Court.
According to the Practice and Procedure Act, a three-member committee holds the authority to schedule a hearing for applications filed under clause three of Article 184. Notably, Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faiz Isa is presently on vacation.
