Karachi: Police have apprehended Raja Azhar, a former member of the Sindh Assembly for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), near the President’s vicinity.
According to a PTI spokesperson, Raja Azhar was taken into custody while he was in his vehicle, which he had parked at a local tea hotel in Sadar. The arrest was carried out by the Sadar Station House Officer (SHO).
The spokesperson stated that Raja Azhar’s car was surrounded by multiple police vehicles when he was arrested. Following his apprehension, Raja Azhar was moved to an undisclosed location by the police. He holds the position of Senior Vice President of the Karachi Division and was formerly associated with PTI in the Sindh Assembly.
