Rawalpindi Test; A change in the national team is likely

A change is likely to be made in the national team for the third Test match against England.

According to media reports, a change in the national team is expected in the Test match starting from Thursday at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

The selectors are considering replacing leg-spinner Zahid Mahmood with fast bowler Muhammad Ali as he might get reverse swing in Rawalpindi which could benefit Pakistan.

Muhammad Ali has been bowling vigorously in the net for 2 days under the supervision of the coaching staff.

Earlier, England announced their playing eleven by making 2 changes in their team in the second test, they rested the fast bowlers and made the spinners a part of the squad.

Pakistan have won the second Test in Multan to level the series 1-1. In this Test match, spinners Nauman Ali and Sajid Khan took all 20 wickets and played an important role in their first win since 2021.
