Relations between India and Canada have become increasingly strained, Canada deport Chief of ‘RAW’.

Relations between India and Canada have deteriorated further, with Canada expelling an Indian diplomat and the head of India’s RAW intelligence agency.

According to reports from an international news agency, the already strained relations between India and Canada have escalated. Canada has taken the step of asking an Indian diplomat to depart the country, while also expelling the chief of India’s intelligence agency RAW who was stationed in Canada.

In a parliamentary address, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau asserted that Canadian intelligence has uncovered a connection between the death of Hardeep Najar and the Indian government. He mentioned that this issue had been raised with Indian Prime Minister Modi during the G20 meeting. Trudeau emphasized that any involvement of a foreign government in the killing of a Canadian citizen on Canadian soil is a violation of their sovereignty.

It’s worth noting that Hardeep Singh Nagar, a prominent pro-Khalistan Sikh leader, was fatally shot in Canada on June 18. This incident sparked worldwide Sikh protests against his killing.
