In Islamabad, an application has been submitted on behalf of Hasan and Hussain Nawaz seeking the suspension of their arrest warrants for their return to Pakistan.
The sons of former Prime Minister and PML-N leader Mian Nawaz Sharif have reportedly decided to come back to the country, prompting them to seek the suspension of the permanent arrest warrants issued against them in the Avenfield reference by the Accountability Court.
The application, filed in the court of Accountability Court Judge Nasir Javed Rana, was represented by Qazi Misbah-ul-Hassan Advocate.
It states that Hasan and Hussain Nawaz plan to arrive in Pakistan on March 12. During the hearing, Judge Nasir Javed Rana remarked that notices will be issued regarding this request, with the lawyer Qazi Misbah Al Hasan urging the court to expedite the process by issuing notices for the following day.
Consequently, the court issued a notice to the investigating officer for the next day. It’s worth mentioning that the accountability court has declared Hasan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz as absconders.
