Petitions challenging the removal of unauthorized Afghan nationals have been scheduled for a hearing at the Supreme Court. A three-member bench led by Justice Sardar Tariq Masood will convene on December 12, with Justice Yahya Afridi and Justice Ayesha Malik also presiding.
Farhatullah Babar and several other petitioners have lodged appeals against the expulsion of foreign individuals. During the previous hearing, the court issued notices to clarify the caretaker government’s authority, and the Attorney General was tasked with aiding in the formation of a larger bench.
