The Islamabad High Court has overturned the session court’s decision to accept the Tosha Khana criminal proceedings case. Chief Justice Amir Farooq declared a safe verdict and ordered the trial court to reevaluate the case and make a new decision. The High Court provided a concise judgment, directing the Sessions Court to reconsider the admissibility of the case after hearing the arguments from both parties.
Furthermore, the High Court has issued a notice regarding the petition to challenge the termination of the defense rights of Chairman PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) and has requested a reply by next week.
On a separate matter, the High Court rejected PTI’s request to transfer the Tosha Khana criminal proceedings case to a different court. Instead, the case will continue to be heard by Additional District and Sessions Judge Humayun Dilawar.
