
The Kremlin said several Russian radio stations were hacked to broadcast a fake speech by President Vladimir Putin announcing a military invasion of Ukraine and emergency measures in three regions bordering Ukraine.
According to international media reports, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the hacking incident came amid heavy shelling and multiple infiltration attempts in southwestern Belgorod, and after Ukraine predicted an imminent retaliation.
