In a significant political development, Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has encountered another major setback as one of its central leaders and former provincial minister, Samsam Bukhari, has voiced strong condemnation of the incidents that occurred on May 9. Consequently, he has announced his resignation from PTI.
Samsam Bukhari held discussions with Chairman Jahangir Tareen of the Stabilization Pakistan Party, during which prominent figures like Aoon Chaudhry and Noman Langriyal were also present.
As a result of these discussions, Sumsam Bukhari has made the decision to align himself with the Stability Pakistan Party. He intends to formally announce his affiliation through an upcoming official press conference.
Expressing his sentiments, Samsam Bukhari emphasized that, much like any devoted Pakistani citizen, he vehemently disapproves of the events that transpired on May 9. He has consistently stood against the politics of violence and intends to maintain this stance moving forward.
He underlined the collective ownership of the nation and its institutions, stressing the need for collaborative efforts. As a reflection of his convictions, Samsam Bukhari has officially distanced himself from PTI, effectively marking a new phase in his political journey.
