Sanam Javed, a PTI social media activist, has declared her candidacy for election while in jail. Her father confirmed that she intends to file nomination papers for the Provincial Assembly seat PP 150 in Lahore.
He stated that she plans to contest against Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Maryam Nawaz. Documents are being gathered for her participation in the election. Additionally, it’s been noted that despite being released from Kot Lakhpat Jail, Sanam Javed has been re-arrested. Her father mentioned that he will manage the nomination process for Sanam, who aims to run on a PTI ticket and submit papers for reserved seats for women.
