Saudi Arabia demands that all countries stop supplying arms to Israel

During the BRICS meeting, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman emphasized the urgent need for ‘serious’ peace negotiations to establish a Palestinian state.

He stressed the importance of a concrete and comprehensive approach to resolving the Palestinian issue, calling for an end to arms supply to Israel until an independent Palestinian state is established along the 1967 borders.

Expressing condemnation for the Israeli attacks in Gaza, the Crown Prince highlighted the targeting of synagogues, hospitals, and schools, resulting in the loss of innocent lives, including women and children. He urged collective efforts among conference participants to halt these tragic events and prevent further human suffering in Gaza.

It’s essential to note that the BRICS virtual summit involved Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, China, Egypt, Russia, Brazil, India, South Africa, Argentina, Ethiopia, and Iran, with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in attendance.
