The scheduled hearing regarding the PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s appeal for the reinstatement of his right to defense has been postponed.
This delay comes as a result of Chief Justice Amir Farooq’s absence due to health reasons. Consequently, all cases listed for Chief Justice Amir Farooq’s court have been adjourned.
It’s important to highlight that Chairman PTI submitted a plea to regain his right to defense in the Tosha Khana case. The Islamabad High Court had directed the Election Commission to provide its response in relation to this matter. Notably, the trial court had previously revoked Imran Khan’s right to defense in the Toshakhana case. The trial court’s verdict came prior to the High Court’s decision on the matter.
