Security arrangements have been confirmed for the upcoming matches scheduled in Pakistan for the Asia Cup.

The security plan for the Asia Cup 2023 matches, scheduled to take place in Pakistan, has been confirmed. As per reports from the media, Rana Mansoor, the Chief Police Officer (CPO) of Multan City, has stated that over 7,000 security personnel will be on duty during the matches. Cricket enthusiasts attending the stadium to witness the games will have the option to park their vehicles in Fatima Jinnah Town.

Likewise, for the Asia Cup matches, the federal cabinet has granted approval for the deployment of the Army and Punjab Rangers. Their presence is aimed at ensuring comprehensive security measures.

It’s important to highlight that the country will host four matches of the Asia Cup, spanning from August 30 to September 6. The inaugural match is scheduled for Multan, while the remaining three matches will be held at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
