Sharjeel Inam Memon, former provincial minister of Sindh, has urged the caretaker government to facilitate the deployment of buses currently stationed at the port onto the roads.
These buses, procured from overseas for Karachi and other Sindh cities, remain idle at the port, prompting Memon to call upon the caretaker government to expedite their deployment.
Highlighting the prolonged period these buses have been parked at the port, Memon emphasized the necessity of swiftly introducing these vehicles onto the roads for public use. These buses, purchased by the Sindh government under the People’s Party, have been awaiting deployment for months. Memon stressed the immediate need to mobilize these buses to benefit the public, emphasizing the affordability and quality they would offer once operationalized.
