Karachi: Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Memon said that the law is clear that a party with prohibited funding cannot contest elections.
Addressing a press conference in Karachi, Senior Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said that no popular person is above the law. No one can win the election in the constituency with me, it is not my intention to tell people to set fire, burn it and surround it. It is not written in any law of the world that you should take the law into your hands. These people wrote to the IMF to stop the funds. Foreign lobbyists are sponsoring such chaos. It is clear in the law that a party receiving prohibited funding cannot contest elections. Supreme Court’s decision is now public property. Read all the Election Commission Laws, it states which parties can contest elections.
Sharjeel Memon further said that the government will continue, nothing is going to happen in this country. No more despair and worry. People spread negativity. There are challenges in the country, the federal and provincial governments should work to make things easier for the people. People are being encouraged to resort to violence. Arshad Sharif revealed the countries that were funding here.
