In Rawalpindi, individuals utilizing sound systems on rickshaws for Sheikh Rasheed’s election campaign were apprehended.
A case was filed at Sadiqabad police station for the installation of a sound system on a rickshaw during Sheikh Rasheed’s campaign, citing a violation of the Sound Act.
The police detained Waheed Gul and Kamran, the two individuals responsible for installing the sound system, and confiscated both the rickshaw and the sound equipment, as they were causing disturbances. Additionally, another case was registered at Sadiqabad police station against those initiating the election campaign and organizing rallies on the instructions of the PTI founder. The police reported the arrest of 5 individuals, while 7 others successfully evaded capture, with charges filed under Section 144 and road blocking regulations.
