The Sindh High Court ordered to provide a copy of the film Rawalpindi Express, made on the life of former national cricketer Shoaib Akhtar, to the appellant related to the dispute.
In front of a two-member bench consisting of Justice Adnan Iqbal Chaudhry and Justice Zulfiqar Ali Sangi, the appeal of Q Films Production was heard against the injunction order related to the controversy of the film Rawalpindi Express, which was made on the life of former national cricketer Shoaib Akhtar.
He stated that Shoaib Akhtar made a false statement regarding the injunction, if Shoaib Akhtar continues to make further false statements, he has the right to take legal action.
The court ordered Q Films Productions to provide the copy. The court adjourned the hearing till August 15. Shoaib Akhtar had filed a Rs 50 crore damages claim against Q Films, a one-member bench issued an injunction against the film.
