Anju, now known as Fatima, met her 29-year-old friend Nasrullah after arriving in Pakistan, where she willingly converted to Islam. Nasrullah’s family welcomed her warmly, and soon after her conversion, she married Nasrullah.
The couple received wedding congratulations and valuable gifts from famous businessmen. A viral video on social media showed Fatima, formerly Anju, receiving shawls, clothes, and the papers of a flat from a prominent Pakistani businessman.
