Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Siraj-ul-Haq expressed grave concerns during his address at the Gaza Solidarity Camp in Islamabad. He extended gratitude to the leadership and people of Islamabad for their unwavering support to the Palestinians in their struggle for liberation.
Haq emphasized their steadfast commitment to standing by the Palestinians, ensuring they won’t be abandoned during challenging times. He credited the solidarity shown by millions as a morale boost for both the Mujahideen and the people in their cause.
Highlighting the global support against Israel, Haq underscored the silence of Muslim leaders and urged for a defensive plan to aid Gaza. He condemned the loss of innocent lives, warning that if Israel isn’t halted today, it poses a threat not just to Palestine but to all Muslim nations, including Pakistan.
Advocating for the boycott of Israeli products, Haq questioned the import of such goods by Muslim rulers and stressed that a united boycott could pressurize Israel to cease its actions. Referencing Quaid-e-Azam’s stance on Israel’s illegitimacy, he questioned its recognition today.
Moreover, Haq criticized America’s unwavering support for Israel, cautioning that if this continues, the unity of two billion Muslims could transform streets into situations akin to Gaza.
