Sukkur: Siraj-ul-Haq, the leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, has called for a neutral stance from the establishment during the upcoming general elections.
Speaking at the Sukkur High Court Bar, he emphasized that the constitution mandates transparent and equitable elections within 90 days, leading to a peaceful transfer of power to the elected administration. Haq urged the court, election commission, and establishment to maintain impartiality.
Highlighting Pakistan’s origins, he noted that the nation was founded by a legal expert and asserted that lawyers hold the key to advancing its future. Pakistan stands as the world’s second nation established in the name of freedom.
Haq underscored the necessity of dismantling the usury system for a stable and secure Pakistan. He pledged that, under a Jamaat-e-Islami government, steps would be taken promptly to eradicate usury from the country.
Addressing the legal community, Siraj-ul-Haq sought their support in striving for a Pakistan rid of both the usurious system and corruption, aligning with the principles of Jamaat-e-Islami.
