He lamented the current state of Pakistani politics, characterizing it as a nexus of plunder, military influence, and financial corruption.
Siraj-ul-Haq underscored the significance attributed to the recent negotiations between the new Pakistani government and the IMF, labeling it a noteworthy accomplishment. He likened the burden of debt to a malignant disease surpassing even cancer, stating that the nation’s economy is heavily reliant on loans, with every citizen consequently burdened by debt. He emphasized that a nation mired in debt can never truly prosper, identifying it as the foremost crisis confronting the country.
