A suicide bomber blew himself up near Akhund Dheri, within the limits of Police Station Umarzai, but there was no casualty as there was no rush at the blast site.
According to the police, the suicide bomber blew himself up after passing a police van. The sound of the explosion was heard far away.
A heavy contingent of police reached the spot. The police have started an investigation into the blast.
