
In a session of the Supreme Judicial Council held in Islamabad, the manager of a private bank presented documentation regarding a bank draft amounting to Rs. 55 crore.
Chaudhry Shehbaz, a witness, testified about his late wife’s case in Mazahir Naqvi’s court. Zahid Rafiq, owner of Capital Smart City and Lahore Smart City, testified that he met Mazahir Naqvi through a land provider named Raja Safdar and made payments through him.
Rafiq mentioned meetings with Naqvi and financial transactions involving Naqvi’s family members. Questions arose regarding charity distributions and property transactions involving Naqvi’s sons. The council discussed the lack of evidence against Mazahir Naqvi regarding Allied Plaza.
Chairman Qazi Faiz Isa allowed for cross-examination by Naqvi’s lawyer and adjourned the proceedings until the following day, requesting relevant documents from Zahid Rafiq.
