T20 World Cup 2024; Not being transferred from USA, West Indies, ICC

The International Cricket Council (ICC) and the England Cricket Board have denied that they are not thinking about shifting the T20 World Cup 2024 from America and West Indies. 

According to media reports, in the past few days, news was circulating regarding hosting the T20 World Cup 2024 to England, Ireland and Scotland as a result of the uncertainty on the part of the American Cricket Board. 

The spokesperson of the England Cricket Board says that there is no truth in the news of shifting the T20 World Cup from America and West Indies, since the announcement has been made by the ICC, it should be considered as the final decision. 

On the other hand, ICC has confirmed that USA and West Indies will be the hosts of T20 World Cup 2024, while the situation regarding Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan is unclear. 

The ICCT20 World Cup 2024 will feature 20 countries with 55 matches to be played. The inspection has been completed. 

It should be noted that the Indian media reported yesterday that the International Cricket Council (ICC) 2025 tournament may be shifted from Pakistan to the West Indies and the United States, while the 2024 T20 World Cup is likely to be shifted to Scotland and Ireland. 

Reports say that instead of the 2024 T20 World Cup, USA and West Indies could jointly host the 2025 Champions Trophy, while the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will be paid heavily for the venue change. 

Broadcasters for CK’s next media rights also agree with the proposal, if things go smoothly, the changes could be implemented. 

Reports suggest that shifting the Champions Trophy to the West Indies and the United States will give the two countries extra time to prepare the necessary infrastructure to host it.
