
The interim government in Islamabad has slashed the prices of petroleum products by Rs 9, offering relief to the public.
As per the Finance Department’s notice, over the next 15 days, petrol will see a decrease of Rs 0.24 per liter, high-speed diesel will go up by Rs 6.47 per liter, light diesel will see a hike of Rs 0.09 per liter, and kerosene will drop by Rs 0.65 per liter.
Following these adjustments, petrol will now cost Rs 281.34 per liter (previously Rs 283.38), high-speed diesel will be priced at Rs 296.71 per liter (previously Rs 303.18), kerosene will stand at Rs 204.98 per liter (previously Rs 211.03), and light diesel will be Rs 180.45 per liter (previously Rs 189.46).
These revised prices took effect at midnight and will remain valid until November 30th, midnight.
