Imran Khan’s application for bail in the cipher case is set to be heard in Islamabad. Progress has been made in the cipher case against the Chairman of PTI, and the Islamabad High Court has arranged a hearing for Imran Khan’s bail application. The High Court Registrar has released the schedule for the upcoming week.
The bail application for PTI’s Chairman is slated to be heard on Monday, presided over by Chief Justice Aamir Farooq of the Islamabad High Court. The court has also issued a notice to the FIA (Federal Investigation Agency) for presenting their arguments.
It’s important to note that the bail application of Chairman PTI Imran Khan had been previously rejected by the Special Court under the Official Secrets Act.
Additionally, the Islamabad High Court has kept the decision on the request to transfer Chairman PTI from Attock to Adiala Jail pending and scheduled a re-hearing of the case. Chief Justice Amir Farooq will be overseeing the petition on September 25. The court had recently reserved its judgment after concluding arguments.
It’s worth mentioning that the court has rescheduled the case to further clarify certain legal aspects.
