
In Karachi, the US Dollar’s value continues to decline relative to the Pakistani Rupee.
At the outset of the business week, the dollar experienced a decline of 94 paisa, reaching a rate of Rs 290.82 paise in the interbank market. Subsequently, this depreciation trend persisted, and by midday, the dollar had dropped by Rs 21 paise, settling at the level of Rs 290.55 paisa against the Rupee.
Concurrently, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) exhibited a bullish trend today. The KSE 100 index demonstrated an upswing, reaching 46,572 points, with the PSX initiating the week with a gain of 151 points on Monday.
It is noteworthy that owing to measures implemented by the interim government, the US Dollar has been steadily losing value in relation to the Pakistani Rupee over the past few weeks.
