The LPG Distributors Association in Lahore has declared a strike in response to the recent price hike. During an emergency meeting on Monday, the distributors expressed their protest against the actions of the mafia, which has led to the unlawful increase in LPG prices.
The Chairman of the LPG Distributors Association, Irfan Khokhar, clarified that the strike is not directed against the government but rather aimed at combating the activities of the price-hiking mafia. As part of the protest, the shops will remain closed for four hours on Monday. Additionally, a complete shutter-down strike will be observed nationwide, including Lahore, on August 5 and 6.
