Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the terrible events of May 9 alone have caused billions of rupees loss to the economy.
Reacting to Imran Khan’s statement, the Prime Minister said that Imran Khan’s continuous protests, long marches and sit-ins had a very bad effect on the economy, Imran Khan easily forgets his role in increasing the economic challenge.
He further said that Imran Khan always wanted Pakistan to go bankrupt by terminating the agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Shehbaz Sharif said that the events of May 9 are an undeniable confirmation of Imran Khan’s evil ambitions, Imran Khan’s numerous corruption cases are apart from all this.
He further said that we are facing economic challenges but we have moved away from the brink of disaster, efforts are being made to tackle the economic challenges through tough economic measures and timely policy interventions.
