Islamabad: The federal budget is set to be presented on June 12.
Yesterday, a meeting of the House Business Advisory Committee, chaired by Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, was held. Participants included Law Minister Nazir Tarar, Naveed Qamar, Khalid Magsi, Aamir Dogar, Aminul Haq, Ijaz Jakharani, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, and Noor Alam. During the meeting, it was unanimously decided that the federal budget will be presented on June 12, with the budget meeting scheduled for 4 pm.
The National Assembly session will continue today (Friday). There will be sessions on Saturday and Sunday, and after Monday’s session, there will be a one-day break. The Finance Minister will present the budget on Wednesday, and following the budget presentation, the meeting will be adjourned until after Eid.
