
In Karachi, the Caretaker Federal Interior Minister, Sarfaraz Bugti, affirmed Pakistan’s steadfast stance against terrorists causing turmoil within the country.
Speaking at a ceremony held at the Pakistan Coast Guards Training Center during the passing out parade of Recruits Badge 43, Bugti emphasized his unwavering determination to combat terrorism.
The passing out parade for Recruits Badge 43 saw the presence of numerous dignitaries, including Chief Guest Federal Interior Minister Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti, senior civil and armed forces officials, as well as the families of the recruits who had successfully completed their training. Outstanding recruits were recognized with medals during the event.
Caretaker Federal Interior Minister Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti expressed his deep respect for the martyred soldiers of the Pakistan Army, underscoring that their sacrifices would forever be commemorated. He highlighted the significance of the training provided to the recruits and acknowledged the crucial role played by the Coast Guards in maintaining peace and order in Balochistan.
Bugti also revealed significant achievements by the Pakistan Coast Guard over the past year, including the seizure of a substantial quantity of drugs valued at $616 million in the international market. Additionally, illegal goods worth Rs 1,077 million were confiscated, contributing 380 million rupees to the government treasury through various measures. Furthermore, the Coast Guard successfully apprehended numerous criminals. In the previous year, 444 migrants were arrested on the Giwani coast.
