
In Islamabad, the full court session of the Supreme Court, presided over by the Chief Justice of Pakistan, concluded after two hours following a letter submitted by six judges of the Islamabad High Court to the Supreme Judicial Council.
The session, held in the Judges Committee Room, involved the participation of all Supreme Court judges. Discussions centered around the contents of the letter, its constitutional and legal implications, with judges sharing their perspectives. The full court meeting is scheduled to reconvene today.
Meanwhile, the Attorney General held discussions with Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa regarding the letter from the Islamabad High Court judges, acknowledging the seriousness of the matter and advocating for an investigation. Additionally, the Pakistan Bar Council has convened an important Executive Committee meeting on April 5 to deliberate on the situation and determine the subsequent course of action.
