Karachi: Netflix, the renowned American streaming platform and production company, is set to launch Pakistan’s inaugural original web series.
As per reports from international media, this initiative by Netflix aims to elevate Pakistani content to a global audience. The upcoming web series features prominent Pakistani showbiz figures who have already gained recognition on the international stage.
The cast of Pakistan’s debut Netflix original series includes established names like Fawad Khan, Sanam Saeed, Mahira Khan, Ahad Raza Mir, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Bilal Ashraf, Maya Ali, Hania Aamir, Khushal Khan, Nadia Jameel, Umair Rana, Iqra Aziz, and Samina Ahmed. The web series, titled ‘Jo Bacha Hain Sing Samet Lo,’ is under production by ‘Momna Dared Films’ and is slated for release in the upcoming year.
It’s important to note that the narrative of this Pakistani original web series draws inspiration from Farhat Ishtiaq’s novel ‘Jo Bashe Hain Sing Samet Lo.’
