The investigation into wheat theft valued at billions of rupees in Sindh has now progressed to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
NAB officials have initiated inquiries into the wheat scams, directing the Deputy Director of the Food Department in Karachi to furnish a comprehensive report spanning five years of wheat transactions at the Garhi Khairu warehouse in Malir.
A notification has been issued by NAB to the Deputy Director of the Karachi Region, outlining the requirement for detailed records of wheat procurement at the Malir warehouse from 2015 to 2020. The directive specifies that Nader Ali Magsi, the supervisor at the NAB Garhi Khairu Wheat Purchase Center, along with other personnel, are to cooperate with the investigation and provide the requested information by April 5th.
