The judge to whom there was objection, the High Court sent there,Chairman PTI’s appeal in Supreme Court

Jamaat-e-Islami also filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the constitutional amendment

Chairman of the PTI has filed an appeal in the Supreme Court challenging the Islamabad High Court’s recent decision regarding the Tosha Khana case. The appeal argues that the High Court rushed to make a judgment and requests the suspension of the Tosha Khana trial.

The petition contends that the case was assigned to the same judge to whom they had objected, raising concerns about impartiality. The manner in which the High Court delivered its verdict is claimed to have violated the petitioner’s basic human rights.

Yesterday, the Islamabad High Court accepted Chairman PTI’s request and overturned the District and Sessions Court’s decision to deem the Tosha Khana case admissible. The court ordered a re-hearing by Judge Humayun Dilawar.
