The national cricket team has embarked on their journey to Dubai to partake in the Cricket World Cup in India. As reported by Media, the team, comprising a 15-player squad and 3 reserve players, as well as 13 members encompassing coaches and support staff, departed from Allama Iqbal International Airport.
Morne Morkel, the bowling coach, will be joining the team in Dubai, while the team director, Mickey Arthur, is scheduled to arrive in India directly on September 30.
Following a brief 9-hour layover in Dubai, the squad’s subsequent destination will be Hyderabad. The national team is set to touch down in Hyderabad at 8:15 PM IST. Their inaugural match in the tournament holds great significance, and the team’s aspiration is to not only reach the top four but also to return as champions, as expressed by Babar Azam.
