After the events of May 9, 150 current and former members of Parliament of Tehreek-e-Insaf have left. So far, a total of 220 senior officials have parted ways with the party.
Those who left the party include 31 former ministers, advisers and former special assistants, among them 48 current or former members of the National Assembly have left Tehreek-e-Insaf. After the May 9 incident, 77 former MPAs from Punjab bid farewell to the party.
11 former members of provincial assembly from KP left the party. 8 members of provincial assembly from Sindh and 3 members of provincial assembly from Balochistan left the party. After the events of May 9, 52 party officials have announced to leave the party so far, three centers also left the party.

Among the important leaders are Usman Buzdar, Amir Kayani, Fawad Chaudhry, Shireen Mazari, Ali Zaidi, Imran Ismail, Khusrubakhtiar, etc. Parvezakhtak and Asad Umar are among those who left the party.
