The phase of moving the disabled aircraft parked at Karachi Airport to Hyderabad has begun.

The transfer began after the aircraft was moved from the Karachi Airport runway to the outer part.

The aircraft is being moved from Shahra-Faisal to Malir via Thatta-Hyderabad road. The 60-ton aircraft was washed and cleaned before departure.

The disabled aircraft had been parked at Karachi Airport since 2011.

According to sources, the MD-83 aircraft is being moved to the Civil Aviation Training Institute Hyderabad.

It should be noted that earlier on November 1, the disabled passenger aircraft Airbus 310 was taken from Karachi via the motorway to Hyderabad, where it has been moved to the Civil Aviation Authority’s training center.
