In Karachi, the full restoration of PIA’s flight schedule remains pending, resulting in delays for several flights and the cancellation of four others. According to insider information, while there has been some improvement in the national airline’s schedule, four domestic flights have been axed, and others are experiencing delays. Specifically, both the inbound and outbound flights PK 582 and PK 583 between Karachi and Rahim Yar Khan have been canceled. Furthermore, flights PK 601 and PK 602 traveling to and from Islamabad and Gilgit have also been canceled.
Additionally, flight PK 536 from Karachi to Sukkur has been delayed by one hour, while flight PK 350 from Karachi to Peshawar will now depart an hour earlier than originally scheduled. There’s been a delay of over 3 hours for flight PK 784 from Toronto, which will now arrive in Karachi with a 4-hour and 24-minute delay. Flight PK 741 from Lahore to Jeddah has experienced a 37-minute delay, and flight PK 185 from Lahore to Sharjah departed half an hour behind schedule.
Remarkably, PIA flight PK 746 from Jeddah to Sialkot has faced an unusually extensive delay, exceeding 6 hours. Flight PK 255 from Peshawar to Al Ain has encountered a delay of more than 6 hours, while flight PK 233 from Islamabad to Dubai has been postponed by 7 hours. Lastly, flight PK 261 from Islamabad to Abu Dhabi has experienced a 35-minute delay.
