
President Arif Alvi has accepted the resignation of Supreme Court Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan, following the advice of the Prime Minister.
Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan submitted his resignation, and in the aftermath, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah has been appointed as a member of the Judicial Commission and Supreme Judicial Council. This development has resulted in an increase in the number of vacancies in the Supreme Court, now totaling three. The resignation marks a significant change in the composition of the Supreme Judicial Council after the departure of Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan.
