In the global bullion market, the cost of an ounce of gold declined by 6 dollars, reaching a level equivalent to 1994 dollars.
However, in the local exchange markets on Friday, the rates for gold per tola and per ten grams witnessed an increase of Rs 300 and Rs 257 respectively.
Consequently, in cities including Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Multan, Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, and Peshawar, the price of gold per tola escalated to 225,300 rupees, while the cost per ten grams rose to 193,158 rupees.
Conversely, the price of silver per tola remained steady at 2,750 rupees, and the cost per 10 grams also maintained stability at 2,357.68 rupees with no alterations.
