The Islamabad High Court has halted the decision of the Islamabad Deputy Commissioner and other officials in the contempt of court case.
A session was convened in the High Court to review the appeal against the ruling of the Islamabad Deputy Commissioner and others concerning contempt of court.
Following the apprehension of the PTI founder, the DC of Rawalpindi reportedly issued a restraining order against Shehryar Afridi, as stated by the attorney.
Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb remarked that even without an official arrest, individuals are effectively considered arrested as per the orders of the Islamabad High Court.
The High Court has temporarily suspended the penalties imposed on the Islamabad Deputy Commissioner and others, adjourning the hearing of the case. It has been stated that these penalties will remain suspended until the subsequent hearing.
