Lahore: The Punjab Censor Board has blocked the release of the Hollywood movie ‘Barbie’ in theaters across the province due to some objectionable content

Secretary Information and Culture Punjab Ali Nawaz Malik clarified that the movie ‘Barbie’ has not been banned in Punjab, but its screening is currently not allowed. Going by, the review committee meeting for the film will be called soon.
Earlier, the film ‘Joyland’ was similarly banned, which was cleared by the National Censor Board after the government ordered a review, but it remained banned in Punjab.
