
The value of the US dollar against the rupee began to depreciate rapidly across the country. According to the data released on Twitter, the social media website of the State Bank of Pakistan, during the third business day of this week, the value of the US dollar fell by 24 paisa against the rupee in the interbank.
According to the statement, the value of the US dollar has fallen from Rs 287 to Rs 287 22 paise to Rs 286 98 paise in the interbank exchange.
According to the Central Bank, the value of the local currency was seen to recover by 0.08% against the US currency.
On the other hand, the value of the US dollar against the rupee is also seen in the open market. It has reached close to Rs 290 which had touched the Rs 310 level a few weeks ago.
Meanwhile, during the last few days, the US dollar has become cheaper by around 20 rupees in the open market only.
