The Pakistan and Afghanistan cricket teams are set to play a three-match ODI series in Sri Lanka from August 22 to 26. The Afghanistan Cricket Board has confirmed that they will host the series in Sri Lanka. The first ODI will take place in Hambantota on August 22, followed by the second ODI on August 24, also in Hambantota. The third and final ODI will be held in Colombo on August 26.
The Pakistani team is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka on August 17 and will undergo training in Hambantota from August 19 to 21. After the series, the Pakistan team will return home on August 27. It is worth noting that Pakistan currently holds the second position in the ICC World ODI rankings, while Afghanistan is placed eighth.
