In Islamabad, there has been a change in the bench handling the Tosha Khana case. Today, a three-member bench led by Justice Yahya Khan Afridi will preside over the hearing.
Justices Hasan Azhar Rizvi and Musarat Hilali are also part of the new bench. Notably, Justice Mazahar Naqvi has been replaced by Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi.
On August 2, the Supreme Court once again denied the request from the PTI chairman to halt the Tosha Khana trial. The day before, the court issued a written order regarding the petition related to the Tosha Khana case. The order stated that since the case’s merits had not been fully argued, it should be treated as if it had never been heard.
